About the role:

Our mission is to make the world more productive and robust. We do this by massively reducing the cost of developing reliable, performant, and safe factory apps. Developers across the world are using the Actyx platform to redesign and digitize factory processes. Our customers are manufacturers in industries such as metal processing, machine components, automotive, glass, packaging, or construction. With 8m in seed funding and a team of 20 people we built and validated our platform with first customers. We are now focused on reaching thousands of developers and installing the platform in tens of thousands of factories.

As a Partner & Account Executive, you will play a fundamental role in leading Actyx into the growth phase. Actyx offers a fast-paced, innovative environment where you will be provided the tools, resources, and outstanding entrepreneurial environment to sell the Actyx Platform. To achieve this you will work closely with the founders and the management team. In this role you will not only work at the tip of the spear, you will also be able to take ownership and be able to grow into a specialist or leadership role. Working primarily out of our office in Munich, you can expect a flexible and high pace work environment, with low hierarchies and a competitive compensation package (incl. Employee Stock Option Package). 

Your impact

  • Generate new business by engaging with partners and customers, driving the lead-to-deal process, and owning the development of vertical and territory strategies
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with partner and customer accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors, and help them grow their business
  • Engage the partner’s field sales organization, marketing channels, and end customers to create and drive opportunities
  • Foster collaboration in the ecosystem, connect partners with customers and drive revenue growth across the ecosystem
  • Understand the capabilities of our partners in selling and using our product, and initiate and plan training of the partner’s sales force and developers
  • Explore new markets, countries, regions, and verticals to elaborate new opportunity pools 
  • Shape and establish scalable and repeatable sales processes helping to grow the Actyx sales team to the next level

  • Intense, strong disciplined, self-motivated - to execute well in a fast-paced environment
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, partner management or business development in the software/technology industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or equivalent
  • Strong interpersonal skills, closer mentality, and entrepreneurial mindset towards every obstacle in life (self-starter)
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize your tasks directed to one goal only: growth
  • Experience engaging and influencing senior executives and strong familiarity with decision-making processes in enterprise customers
  • Energetic, upbeat, tenacious team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English (third language is a plus)
