About The Position:

In your role as Sales Development Representative you will get to know enterprise software sales from the ground up. After an intensive familiarization phase, you will be responsible for researching, identifying and preselecting potential new customers and strategic contacts. This includes being the first point of contact for outbound and inbound leads by engaging with these through cold calls, email and social networks. In addition, you will be attending customer events and trade fairs to meet new potential customers and qualify them. You will also be responsible for the maintenance of our CRM system and thus guarantee a smooth sales cycle, hand in hand with our solution sales managers and marketing.

Within this role we seek somebody that will play an integral role in actively shaping and improving sales processes and overall growth of Actyx to enable a great future for manufacturers in Europe. This role of the Sales Development Rep is designed to be a 12-18 months ramp up program to become a solution sales manager at Actyx.

Your responsibilities

  • Get your hands dirty in the field and take responsibility starting on Day-1
  • Engage with prospects over the phone, by email and through social networks
  • Follow-up in a timely manner with prospects that showed interest in Actyx solutions
  • Understand the prospect’s pain points and requirements in order to qualify and create a high-quality lead funnel 
  • Thorough handovers of qualified leads to Solution Sales Managers
  • Provide feedback to constantly improve the lead qualification process
  • Provide actionable feedback about customer needs to product management
