We are seeking a VP Engineering (m/f/d) to lead and grow our 8-strong Pan-European distributed software development team.

About the role

As VP Engineering you will be working closely with the Actyx management team and especially our CTO Roland to implement our technology vision, keeping in mind the team’s capacity and our overall technology landscape. You create and foster a knowledge-sharing environment and encourage camaraderie amongst team members. You reconcile the company’s goals and people’s needs.

Your responsibilities:

• You shape, grow and manage our world-class engineering team
• You keep our development culture and our company strategy in balance
• You create and adjust technical roadmaps together with the product team
• You provide help and advice on long-term technical decisions that fit the company strategy
• You create long-term goals and strategies for the engineering team
• You motivate people with the understanding of different personalities and needs in various locations
• You continuously seek to improve software engineering practices
